Grouse Guitars
has evolved from my 35 year passion in playing and collecting great
guitars, basses
and amplifiers, with a particular fondness
for vintage Australian guitars and amplifiers (Moody, Ultratone, Goldentone,
Vase, Eminar, Vadis and more) which have until recently been under-recognised.
I am always on the lookout for grouse new stock - contact
me if you have something truly grouse to sell!
Pay worldwide through PayPal or direct Commonwealth Bank Australia deposit,
as well as Australian cash, cheque, money order or trade/swap! We can
also hold an item for you
Reward yourself or a loved one, and take advantage of the HUGE amplifier clearance sale. All stock must go, prices at or well below cost!
Enjoy the Grouse
Guitars experience - a range of instruments and amps
carefully selected by a passionate musician (and Leo the tonehound
- he's an 8yo Beaglier)
to guarantee your own satisfaction and enjoyment. These are
all my own privately-owned instruments and amps; items I love,
and gig and record with. My passion extends to this website,
which I maintain myself - it is ALWAYS up-to-date. If an instrument
sells or is put on lay-by, the
website is instantly updated to keep it current.
Use the
amp knobs at the top of the page to view all my GROUSE guitars,
basses and amps,
send me an email, sign the
guestbook, or salivate over the
items that have sold over the years
(use the site map if the knobs
aren't your thing).
You will
find Grouse Guitars to be an enthusiastic,
ethical, genuine and user-friendly vintage and rare guitar,
bass and amplifier dealer - see the About
Us page to get to know me. And yes, I can lay-by
or hold an item for you, and I'm always looking
for good quality vintage guitars and basses.
If you want
to keep up with the latest at Grouse Guitars,
simply become a friend on our Facebook
page. However, if you'd simply want to view a very tasty selection
of items that have previously sold, check out
our increasingly vast, but always tasty, array of sold
items!

Just for a short time...here is a jam I had recently (Sun
29 Apr) at Elwood with some of my best musician buddies! The
cameraman (cheers Paul!) gets me in frame from time to time
(on the left), but not during the solo! The Kinman
humbucker equipped Tele with my early
'60s Vadis 250RB amp were sounding great that night, as
were Adrian (keys), Pete (bass) and Jeff (drums)!
Amplifier clearance!
I have decided to stop trading in vintage
amplifiers, despite my huge passion for them.Prices have been
slashed to cost or below, with cuts from 25% to more than 33%
